How Port St. Lucie Floor Install Pros works
We are a referral service for flooring installation in Port St. Lucie and the Treasure Coast of Florida.
When you send a request, we pass it to an independent local flooring installer that serves your area. That installer contacts you, measures and gives you the quote. You deal with them directly for pricing, permits and the work itself. The installer is responsible for its own work and any permits. Florida does not require a state contractor license for flooring work on its own. Florida Statute 489.117(4)(a) leaves flooring out of the trades that need state certification or registration. That is not the whole story, because counties and cities can have their own requirements, such as a local business tax receipt or a local license, and a job that touches plumbing or electrical work brings in other rules. Local rules can vary, so confirm with your city or county. Either way, ask any installer for proof of insurance.
There is no charge to you for the referral. The flooring installers pay us for the introduction, and that does not change the price they quote you.
What we do not do
- We do not install, sell or remove flooring ourselves.

Before you hire any installer, ask for proof of insurance, get the quote in writing and ask what is included, such as removal, prep, trim and moving furniture. We do not vouch for any installer's insurance or credentials, so please check.
